Open up wide
Swallow down deep
No spoonful of sugar could make it sweet
The boy towered above her, his hands wrapped around her neck. One twist of his wrists and she would be another corpse that perished at his hands. Yet the figure that lay beneath him held a curve upon her lips. She knew from the start that she would die, from when she first made an acquaintance with the redhead.
The cancer inside
The secrets I keep
The cancer inside
Stealing my sleep
Night after night it keeps haunting me
Gaara never slept, else the demon would take over. He used to look for her when insomnia consumed his being. She reminisced at how alike were those nights to this, only that they didn't have the same happy ending. His never-ending blood lust never could be satisfied by her, she knew that too.
The secrets I keep
They're tearing me up inside
I still hide and then I wonder why
I wonder why I'm still running when I know there's no escaping
"I was your first friend, wasn't I?" Her voice came out as a croak.
He stiffened, hesitating in his act of murder. She took the chance to voice her last words.
"What will you do when I'm not here?" She laughed. Dry and humorless.
His hands constricted tighter around her throat, because her statement couldn't be more right. What was he going to do without her? His mind drew a blank.

Come undone
Surrender is stronger
I don't need to be the hero tonight
We all want love
We all want honor
Nobody wants to pay the asking price
Fall on my knees
Fall on my pride
I'm tripping over all the times I've lied
His hair shone maroon in the pale moonlight, she couldn't make out if it was stained by her blood. Her arms lay limp by her side, she couldn't get out of his vice grip anyway. Sand was creeping up pass her ankles, slowly encasing her in its caress. Her breath already shallow, made worse by his strangle.
His grip trembled, as if he couldn't bear to kill her. Though she knew better, it was just his mind in turmoil, for the final choice was long made.
"Why?" One word the rasp voice produced.
"If you knew this was your end, why did you still..." The sound faded into oblivion.
"Because... you always looked so lonely." Her tone was filled to the brim with melancholy.

"(Y/N)," The blonde confronted the girl.
"Yes, Temari?" Obsidian eyes flashed as a petite figure turned.
"Pardon me for being blunt. Please stay away from Gaara." The teenager advised, pleading for the girl to heed her words. "You're still young, think of what you'd do when you grow up. So please, stay away from him."
"You know, you used to say that everyone lived for a reason," The girl began, "I couldn't find mine though. Until then, I made the choice that my existence was for the sake of another."
"Why Gaara though?" The elder sibling asked, genuinely curious.
"Because... the first time I saw him..." She broke off with a sigh. "He was but a boy, without a proper grasp of this hellish world."
"Still'-"
"Let me ask you a question Temari," She cut the older blonde off, "What is infinite?"
Her answer was straightforward, "The universe."
The child smiled. "And the ignorance of fools."

"Also, did you know... the ignorance of fools is infinite?" She managed. He had released her from his grasp, though the sand still encase her ankles.
I'm pleading please
But when I look in your eyes
You don't need tears for alibis

It's true what they say
Love must be blind
That's why you're still standing by this sinner's side

You're still by my side
When all the things I've done
Have left you bleeding
"Stop!" His voice came out as a snarl. "Stop it! Whatever you're doing!"
He gripped his head in pain, fingers pulling at his hair.
"I'm not doing anything, Gaara," She said, almost calmly, "It's Shukaku, isn't it? Just kill me, satisfy your blood lust."
Slit eyes looked down at the petite figure with a predatory gaze, his demeanor changing instantly. She was his light, all along his journey in darkness. It was fierce and beautiful, like glowing embers in the hearth. He wanted it all to himself.

Her skull cracked as it was slammed against cold concrete. Blood dyeing her teeth red, the liquid escaping out the corner of her mouth. The sand crept pass her torso, covering her arms.
"T..take care of yourself.." Was all she said before the light in her eyes faded.
He let himself be selfish, let the demon inside take over. For once, there was no next time. As he hugged her figure close to his own, his heart pounded, as if trying to beat for the both of them.
For once, Sabaku no Gaara shed tears.

Gaara x Reader: Never lonely
~~Gaara's POV~~
I'm sitting on top of the Kazekage building in the night and look up at the stars. I'm thinking about everything that happened after the chunin exams. Most villagers are still afraid of me and I can't blame them. Even though I became a monster because no one really accepted me. Wait...not everyone hated me. I remember a girl in my childhood who wasn't afraid of me and even defended me. She had (h/l) (h/c) hair, (e/c) eyes and her name was (y/n). I can clearly remember the day we met...
-Flash back-
I was sitting on a swing completely alone like always. The other children were playing together far away from me. I was looking

Sasori x Reader: Favorite
You smiled contently as you watched your red-headed man work. You had been with Sasori as his helper for a while now, never letting him know your true feelings for the puppet maker. You knew about him making himself into a puppet but that didn't change your feelings for him. You sighed slightly as you went to go retrieve the arm he wanted.
One thing that tended to make you happy was that he liked to call you his 'favorite', you had no clue why but he did. You couldn't help but blush when he did. You handed him the arm and he thanked you as he returned to work. The rest of the Akatsuki had treated you like their own when you first got there,

Sasori X Reader - Impatience
“You’d never have that much fun with Sasori, un.” Deidara laughs with you as the two of you walk into the Akatsuki base together. It’s not his comment that you’re laughing at however. The two of you really did have fun together. More than you’ve been able to have with Sasori recently... you’re starting to worry how much longer your relationship with him is going to last.
The redhead’s there when you enter the base. His glare towards you and his partner soon brings down the mood of you both. After that, he just walks away. Maybe that had been his malicious intention. Still, you feel a little sor
